Audi, known for its extensive use of digital marketing, faces the challenge of creating and managing numerous landing pages to showcase its various car models and associated campaigns. With the need to frequently update content and tailor campaigns to specific models, Audi required a solution that could streamline these efforts while being accessible to managers at different levels of technical expertise.
To address this, automation of processes and repetitive actions became a focal point. Traditionally, creating custom landing pages for each campaign involved continuous collaboration with programmers and designers, resulting in high costs and significant time investment in coordination and launch activities. Recognizing the inefficiency, our team proposed a tool that leverages pre-developed elements and draws on the most successful landing pages in terms of conversion rates.
This innovative tool simplifies the creation and management of landing pages, making it a fast and simple process that can be handled by managers without the need for extensive technical knowledge. By using a landing page builder software integrated into this tool, Audi can now benefit from a variety of proven templates that are effective in driving conversions. This approach not only aligns with their approved marketing strategy but also significantly reduces the time and budget previously allocated to these tasks.
As a result, the process of launching marketing campaigns for Audi has been accelerated threefold, and the costs have been halved. This efficiency gain demonstrates the power of combining digital marketing best practices with smart IT solutions, enabling Audi to enhance its online presence and engagement with potential customers through effective, easy-to-manage landing pages.
The development of Audi's landing page creation tool was orchestrated using Vue.js for the front-end and Strapi for the custom admin panel, focusing on scalability, flexibility, and user accessibility. Vue.js, with its component-based architecture, enabled the creation of a dynamic and responsive user interface, allowing for seamless management of landing page content and campaigns. Strapi, an open-source headless CMS, was utilized to construct a bespoke admin panel tailored to Audi’s specific needs, including the implementation of varying user access levels and permissions.
This tech stack was selected for its ability to support a scalable and adjustable platform, ensuring that the tool could evolve in response to Audi's changing requirements. After the initial release, practical usage insights led to the addition of new features, further enhancing the tool's functionality and user experience. The ability to iteratively improve and expand the platform's capabilities post-launch demonstrates the flexibility and forward-thinking approach of the development process.
The development was driven by a dedicated full-stack team, experienced in working with Vue.js and Strapi, which significantly streamlined and accelerated the development process. This team's comprehensive skill set allowed for quick adaptations and efficient problem-solving throughout the project, minimizing delays and ensuring a timely and successful implementation. The end result was a robust, user-friendly tool that streamlined Audi’s digital marketing efforts, making the process of creating and managing custom landing pages more efficient and cost-effective.
The design of Audi's custom landing page tool was meticulously crafted with the primary users in mind: Audi’s marketing managers. To ensure the design met their specific needs, the development team spent a week directly engaging with them, gaining valuable insights into their daily workflows and the challenges they face. This immersive research phase was crucial for understanding how to create a design that is both intuitive and functional, with an emphasis on simplifying daily operations and facilitating the onboarding of new employees.
Through several collaborative workshops with the Audi marketing team, the design focus was honed in on creating a light and minimalistic aesthetic that prioritizes functionality. This approach was chosen to minimize cognitive load and prevent confusion, ensuring that the marketing managers could navigate the tool effortlessly and efficiently. The goal was to make the daily work smooth and clear, allowing for quick adaptation and use by both seasoned employees and newcomers.
The design process resulted in a user interface that embodies clarity and simplicity, removing unnecessary complexities and focusing on the core features that marketing managers need to perform their tasks effectively. Key functions were made easily accessible, and the overall layout was organized to support a logical, straightforward user journey. By concentrating on a minimalistic design, the team ensured that the tool not only looks clean and modern but also enhances productivity and reduces the learning curve for new users.
